Nellie Cheng has followed a distinguished path of public service in Canada and the U.S for more than 25 years and established a track record in delivering successful projects in the Asian market. Nellie’s professional engagement includes serving as Economic Development Director at the City of Prince Rupert in the Province of British Columbia, Canada; overseeing investment attraction and business development at the Vancouver Economic Development Commission; serving as Manager of Greater China with the Government of British Columbia; and Director of East Asia with the Government of Washington State. Nellie served on the Board of World Green Building Council for six years, for four years as Treasurer and two years as Secretary. Nellie Cheng also served as Senior Trade Consultant at Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC), promoting Canadian Healthy Housing and Sustainable Communities in the China market. Nellie Cheng obtained her Master’s Degree in Communication Studies from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada and Executive Management Diploma from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada.
